The body reacts the same way, sweaty palms, butterflies, fast heart rate, shallow fast breathing. So what is the difference between excitement and nervousness?

Excitement is anticipating a positive outcome – well nervousness is anticipating a negative outcome. Think of the best case scenario rather than the worst cast and you can change your nervousness to excitement.

I held the first book off the press – being proof read before the big print. I am mostly excited with a wee sprinkling of nervousness…
